Erin and I went to see Deborah Lippmann perform at Feinstein's at the Regency Hotel last night. I hope everyone knows Deborah. She is the top celebrity manicurist on the planet and she has a great nail polish line. Plus, she happens to be a fantastic jazz singer. Oh, and she's one of the nicest people in the industry, which explains why so many people were in attendance. It was a pretty major crowd. Supermodels, celebrity hair stylists, magazine editors, fashion stylists, photographers. Oh, and one very major Lancôme spokesperson.
Okay, it was Kate Winslet. Who has the most beautiful skin and who was wearing Trésor. A few people stopped Kate and told her how much they love her movies. (Including one woman who told her she'd seen "The Holiday" 15 times.) Kate's movies are great, but my favorite Kate role? You guessed it. Her original Trésor commercial. When the PR team watched it for the first time, we had tears in our eyes.*
But we didn't watch it 15 times. : )

I love Kate Winslet. She is an amazing actress who isn't afraid to take tough roles and doesn't feel the need to conform to the "skinny" standards set by Hollywood.
Ok, while I have to admit that I only watched the clip posted here, all in all it was pretty dull.
But having said that, I do love Kate Winslet and she does have the most luminous skin in the world.

Tiffany, you're right. It does look like a lip gloss in that picture! But in person, you won't confuse them.
And Ewalsh, you have to see the longer version of the commercial! It's was hard to find a good version with a decent resolution that I could upload on the blog. I'm not sure the video here does it justice. But still, I'm a sucker for anything filmed in Paris...and the look on Kate's face when they embrace. She is amazing.

Oh, I really like it. If it was a scene of a movie, I would watch it right away (yes, I love Paris and Kate and anything romantic too). And I think it's good that it's so short, it kinda makes you want to know more about it!
