You know we love the Karla Sugar blog because the sweet Miss K does such a great job swatching collections. Well, the latest collection she swatched (is swatch a verb?) is the Lancôme 2009 holiday collection.

I've been a long time follower of Karlasugar. She's amazing. I can't imagine going up to a counter with the balls to swatch everything as heavily on my arm and then go outside to take a picture of it. She also does this several times per visit so she must carry some wet wipes. Looking through her post I was immediately drawn to the Color Design Sensational Effects Cream Eye Shadow Long Wear in Haute Smoke. What an amazing color.
I fell in love with the Plum Irresistible palette as soon as I saw Karla Sugar's swatches. Not only are the colours gorgeous and just right for brown eyes such as mine, they're also perfect for this season.

I'd definitely pick the palette! In Plum Iresistible. My second choice would be La Laque Fever. It's incredible! But I'm planning on buying it next spring, when there's no scraf and wind to ruin the gloss.

I bought two of the palettes: Evening Splender and La Nuit Seduction. Both contain an artful arrangement of 6 complimentary eyeshadows and 1 blush. I was at the Chanel counter today and the MA asked me what I was wearing. She loved the subtle gold and copper shades I was wearing from the Evening Splender palette. The colors are richly pigmented and blend beautifully. I always use primer so the colors last all day and into the evening.
Haute Smoke Creme Eyeshadow--looks like an amazing amazing everyday eyeshadow. Such a unique shade of taupe!!
I'm loving the Cream Eyeshadow as well, though it's a toss-up between Garter Belt and Haute Smoke!
This is a tricky question Kerry because it's not easy to make a choice for one of the Holiday products. They all are gorgeous but I think if I have to choose one -or two ;) it will be the Eye a Cheek Palete on Plum Irresistible or La Laque Fever on Evening Splendor, great colors and o party ready! Hehehe.
