Happy Thanksgiving! Here's a Little Gift!!

Everyone's a winner today because it's friends and family time! If you're reading the blog, we certainly consider you a friend, so please enjoy. If you've been dying to try a little Lancome something, maybe Oscillation Mascara, the Sparkling Cherub powder or a new Juicy Tube, now's the time! (We also have free shipping through Nov. 30th!)

Tomorrow is Thanksgiving in the United States. If you're not familiar with the holiday, it's a time to give thanks for what you have. If you are celebrating, have a happy holiday. If you're not, you can still take a moment during the day and reflect on what you're thankful for. Feel free to share below! I'm thankful for many things--my health, my family, my friends, my job and for all of you. It's nice to know that many of you check in from time to time and read what we have to say and share your thoughts. I appreciate that more than you know!

We'll be back on Monday with more giveaway winners and lots of exciting Lancome news.

All the best!!

A Little Sumthin for Them, A Little Sumthin for You (It's a Giveaway Alert, My Beauties!)

Does it drive you crazy when stores start promoting the holidays before Halloween even begins? I don't want to see Christmas ornaments and candy corn or tinsel and turkey at the same time. But then there are lots of organized people who don't mind because they like to get their shopping done early.

Whether you're an organized holiday shopper or not, you'll enjoy our Lancome.com holiday gift guide. Why? Because it features options at lots of different price points and four of our favorite people: designer Chris Benz, mua Daniel Martin, spokesmodel Arlenis and sweet sweet Evelyn Iocolano, who created the Lollipop Theater Network charity. Each picked a few Lancome products that would make perfects gifts for their friends, family and other loved ones.

Make sure to take a look. You might get some cute ideas for stocking stuffers or little gifts or even, to quote fashion blogger Bryan Boy, a little sumthin sumthin for yourself. Let's do a fun giveaway. Tell us what gift you'd like to get right now and we'll pick one post at random to win all the gifts on Arlenis, Chris, Daniel or Evelyn's page. (Just tell us which page is your fave.) Please post by Sunday night. Good luck!

Oh Lolli Lollipop!

If you've ever been stuck in a hospital for an extended stay, you know what a drag that can be, even with the most dedicated professionals tending to you.

Fortunately, there are amazing human beings around like Evelyn Iocolano. She's the founder of Lollipop Theater Network, a terrific group that brings first-run movies to children and teens hospitalized due to chronic or life-threatening illnesses. Lancôme ambassador Anne Hathaway introduced us to Evelyn and Lollipop and asked what we could do to support the organization.

We decided to take the lollipop theme and run with it. We came up with three lollipop-influenced gloss and nail polish sets and drawings created by some of the Lollipop kids for the boxes. The sets cost $35 and are available exclusively at Nordstrom. We'll be donating $5 from each set. It's my personal mission to make sure each and every one is sold so we can give a nice big check to Lollipop.

My fave: Bon Bon Strawberry. Every time I wear the nail polish, people stop and ask what it is. But Mademoiselle Grape is equally fun. Check it out on actresses Ryan Newman and Rachel Nichols above (lips & nails!). Christina Ricci wore Ma Cherie Cherry as a lip stain.

Regular readers of the blog know that I rarely insist you go out and buy one of our products. But go buy this. It's a nice treat for yourself, and an even nicer treat for someone else.

P.S. A big thanks to the gals on Lancôme's makeup marketing team who worked overtime to make Lollipop a reality!
